Oracle Cloud Provides Gopuff a Future-proof Foundation for High Growth and Real-time Supply Chain Visibility

As Gopuff — an online delivery provider, rapidly expanded operations, the company was also outgrowing its basic IT infrastructure. Without integrated and automated systems for planning and purchasing as well as inventory replenishment and financials, the company wouldn’t be able to sustain momentum and satisfy its investors. Gopuff partnered with AVATA to implement Oracle Cloud applications that eliminated significant manual work for the Gopuff team and provided a future-proof foundation for high growth and supply chain visibility — all without the company needing to hire additional staff.

The implementation was finished in approximately six months, and included: » Oracle Purchasing Cloud, Oracle Financial Cloud, Oracle General Ledger, Oracle Payables, Oracle Receivables, Oracle Cash Management and Oracle Supplier Portal.  Gopuff also implemented electronic
data interchange (EDI) during the upgrade. Accordingly, the company can now electronically exchange purchasing documents, shipping confirmations and receipts with its key suppliers via EDI.

Overall, these Oracle Cloud solutions plus EDI were ideal for companies like Gopuff — startups growing rapidly and in need of realtime, cloud-based visibility into supply chains.
